DO Ubuntu
70% Unemployment . . . Malnourishment . . . Lack of Medical Care
This is what Thozana, her children and her sister’s orphaned children face every day.

In the Eastern Cape of South Africa, an area where there is 70% unemployment the people are at the core of the Ubuntu Bracelet Campaign: some are infected with HIV/AIDS, and most are impoverished. The UBC does not just donate funds to the families it serves, but provides employment which in turn enables them to sustain themselves.

HIV/AIDS Orphans
"Angels in the Dust" focuses on the personal stories of several orphans and the Cloete family’s extraordinary efforts to help them. The HIV virus has left many villages with no adults where children are the sole caregivers for themselves.

The sale of the Ubuntu Bracelets will generate direct funding to either provide treatment to parents, treatment for children, school supplies, nutritional support, safety from violence, and secure shelter.

In the words of activist Marion Cloete "they are our children; they are mine, they are yours; they belong to all of us; we are all going to have to come together as men and women, and say we are the parents." With your support, we can alleviate the suffering of parents and children across the globe.
